hello MCFR, I did give it a closer check and there is no sign of crack/chip/stress. I took this pic but you can barely see it, it's very small, I guess that's a good sign.



I took my fly rod to the fly shop and the guys told me it's nothing to worry about, it's pretty much in the surface. Thank goodness.
