Default Why birthday's should be secret at the office

    OK, I turn 50 Friday..
I am the IT manager / dude for my company.
I have .. well.. instigated pranks on my coworkers in the past..
I'm off Fridays thank God.. So I thought.
I worked from home Wed, and Thursday I came back to this.
All my pens were wrapped, they decorated the XMas tree and put it in my cube.
They wrapped all my tech books, then wrapped the bookcase..
And on top of it lots of computer issues this morning, and I couldn't even get to my chair... oh that was wrapped too...... ROFL.

SORRY FOR THE BAD PHOTOS.. quick and dirty on my cell phone...

Just be glad they didn't consult with us. Can you imagine a desk covered with nightcrawlers?

That's funny, 's what that is. No chance this is revenge for any little things you might have done along the way is it?

Now I think that was fantastic!!!! At least everything was not wrapped in black since you are so old!! I am pretty sure you deserved everything you got!!!

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

Glad to see some workplaces are fun and not the typical 'politically-correct', sterile, blah places they have been turned into.
Good fishing technique trumps all.....wish I had it.

That has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen!!
Happy birthday old guy!!! ( I can say that because if I stopped aging right now, it'd still take years and years for you to catch up to me!!)
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

I'm thinkin' that the folks at your job like you maybe just a little. If they didn't, they wouldn't have done anything. What a great prank. Happy Birthday buddy.

WIth a little luck someone will give you a surprise party and have old friends roast you with all of the thing you did in your youth and worked hard to forget.
