Hey Flats,
Long time no see. Welcome.

Hey Steve, yep, it's been a long time. Lot's of things have changed. I've officially retired and now manage a fly shop in Orlando and having a blast! I even get to fish every once in a while!
Linda and I have moved out in the country and have deer walking around out back...my nearest neighbors are horses!
But I'm only 25 minutes from the flats.
Don't let him fool you, Steve. He won the lottery, lives in a five bedroom, four bathroom house on one of the keys, that he also bought, and HIRES someone to go fishing for him!
(hee-hee-hee!)
"And look at Elias Wonder. Yeah, take a gander at that buzzard. Forty years ago he was happy, generous, charitable, tall, dark and handsome. Then he took up the fly rod. Now consider him. Uglier than fresh road kill. Evil-eyed, cantankerous, sullen, mean. An anti-social misfit that causes a groundswell of spleen wherever he goes."

Happy, happy, happy!!!!!

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.
Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.
Hey there Flats ,
And I too add my welcome back. It's been a while. I have quoted your dignified, short words of departure of a few years ago. Unlike SOME herein who agonizingly try to elicit "oh please don't go" etc. Yours was short and sweet " I'm outta here". Classy!
Mark
Howdy Dude, still doing the usual & tying up flies. Nice that you've finally got some time for yourself & back on board.
Hey Flats,
Thought that "handle" was just too much of a coincidence. Welcome back.

Welcome back. Good to see a lot of old friends here.
Brad
Thanks to all for the warm welcome back. Later on this morning I'll be posting from the fly shop in Orlando. In case you would like to visit, here's the address.
