The Washington Post website noted today that Microsoft has announced a serious flaw in Windows (Mike Reavey, operations manager for Microsoft's Security Response Center, called the flaw "a very serious issue."). Microsoft says they are working on a fix. The Post suggests the following actions in the meantime.

Visit washingtonpost.com/ securityfix for step-by-step instructions on how to reduce the threat by disabling certain Windows features.

I am not a Windows user so don't know what all this means but thought I would pass this on. You might want to check out the article on the Washington Post Website (www.washingtonpost.com) and/or check with Microsoft.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but didn't know where else to put it where it would be widely seen.
