    Default Where to get parts?

I am building a Forecast F764-5 blank for a client, and have another first. The tip snapped on me while I was wrapping it. I've built dozens of rods and never had this problem. Anyway....
Does anyone know if Batson will sell me a replacement tiptop? I think I'd just as soon try to just replace the tip. If I have to rebuild the whole rod, I'll lose money on the whole thing. I'm not sure if warranty is the way to go, since I can't say if it is material or my fault. I'd just as soon just buy a tiptop if possible, since I can probably get it quicker than what I imagine the warranty process will involve. Anyone been through this before?

Call Batson, and ask about the warranty, how long it would take to replace the tip section, and what it would do to the warranty if you just replaced the tip top. They are super people to work with!

They will replace the section free of charge if it is due to a defect, or even if not due to a defect the cost will be under $20 to get a new section. I've dealt with Batson on replacements a few times and they are very good to deal with.

The # is 877-875-2381 They'll have you send the section in and they will make a determination as to if it's defect or not and send you the new tip usually within about 2-3 days of them receiving the broken tip from you.
