Default What's up in Thingvallavatn, Iceland?

Well it is spawning time for arctic char. These videos are made by divers/flyfishermen of one of the four species of char that live in this lake and this species is unique it can only be found in this lake. These fish are great fighters they never give up and they can get really big they sometimes rival the huge brown trouts in size also found in this lake. This lake Thingvallavatn and place Thingvellir is my favorite spot on this planet.

If you get some message like this video is not available in your country just search for "Arctic Char Thingvellir Iceland".

    Enjoy.

    Hey Jon,

Thanks for taking the time to post and share the videos of your favorite place on earth and the fish that inhabit it. Those certainly are some beautiful fish!

I'm looking at air fare and space available on the flights! What a beautiful home you have!!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

What an amazing place. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Betty-- is there an extra seat on one of those flights?
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.
