Davidson River NC

I am golng to get a chance to fish this river for a couple of hours next weekend. Anybody have a few good patterns for this time of year.

The Browns have just finished their spawn so egg patterns are a good place to start. Midges are aways present, but other insects will be limited. Midge pupa imitations like WD-40, Zebra midges, Disco midges, and Miracle midges will work year round.

I just need to tie up a few more WD-40's and I will be ready to go. I will most likly fish a egg with a WD-40 as a dropper. I know that egg patterns work well in the Dividson area but wasn't sure if they would work this time of year.
