I'm working on a 9' 5wt 4pc Tiger Eye blank. My preference is snakes just for the traditional look, thats just me, but maybe someday...... Either way though, snakes or single feet, spend a little extra (and really it's only a little more then SS or chrome) and get RECoil guides. This is my 4th rod project and the first for RECoil, but I'm sold!!! The RECoil stripping guides (10 & 12) don't, and cant, have inserts because of the flexibility.
