2010 Michigan Fish-In
The 2010 Michigan Fish-In will be a special one.
The dates have been set with Rusty Gates at Gates Lodge for the 2010 James Burkholm Memorial FAOL Michigan Fish-In. The 2010 Michigan Fish-In will be held from June 27-July 3 at Gates Lodge, in Grayling, Michigan.
Rusty says that it is imperative that anyone who wants to stay at Gates Lodge needs to get their reservations in right away, as that will be around the time of the Hex Hatch, when the lodge is always booked up. When you call for your reservations be sure to tell them that you are coming for the Michigan Fish-In. Rusty Gates is a sponsor of FAOL and has done a lot for fly fishing in Michigan. As you all know Ray has started gathering items for a raffle to be held to procure a memorial stone bench, and to bring Ladyfisher back for a memorial ceremony. This will be one of our most important fish-ins ever as we formally say good bye to our founder, friend and teacher, JC.
