Default Tred Barta fights spinal stroke

I've watched his show, though not with any frequency. I saw this several weeks ago but I hadn't heard mention of it here.
Thought I'd pass it along for those that are unawares. And I've not previously heard of a spinal stroke.

"'I?ve fought to earn world records for some of the most challenging
fish in the ocean and have hunted dangerous game in the wilderness with
only my long bow, but nothing compares to the fight I am in now,' said
Barta. Spinal cord stroke is among the rarest forms of strokes ? 1.2% of
all strokes. The overall annual incidence of spinal cord strokes is estimated
to be only 12 strokes in 100,000 people."

Apparently, his condition progressed (in the wrong direction), jeopardizing mobility in his upper body.

That is sad to hear of.
My Mom had 3 strokes and died an invalid, at 80.
I wasn't aware you could have a spinal stroke.
My doctor keeps a close eye on my blood pressure. Less is more anymore.
I told him I got a "wheelchair accessible" pontoon boat for just in case. (But because of my back.)
I will go down fighting! (Hopefully, fishing! )

There's a guy I don't always agree with, but always admire his fighting spirit. Hope he comes along okay...
