Got out for an hour and a half today between thunderstorms. Noticed right off the bat that there were a lot of caddisfly coming of the water(mid sized pond). The gills were boiling all over, and had very good luck with a sz14 caddis of the generic variety. Ended up with around a dozen gills with two being 7-8 inches and one nice crappie. I even saw two carp come up and get in on some of the action, but none for me. Haven't been able to get out much lately and really enjoyed my self. Next time I'll bring the camera.
