Default Drift boat or Pontoon boat

In 2 weeks, I'm leaving for a 2 week fishing trip to Montana. I plan on hiring guides for 3 different locations but I also want to float the rivers again by myselft after floating with the guide and learing the river.

What would you all recommend I take. I have both a Drift boat and a 2 man pontoon boat.

Which one would you all suggest I take considering ease in transporting, etc.

    Thank you.

For ease of transportation, I'd go with the kickboat. But you could deflate the kickboat and put it in the driftboat and take both with you. Then you decide when you get there. After all, you might end up using both.

Mojo probably had the best answer; providing you with the fexibility.

I hope the run-off has settled down for you by then?

i wouldnt classify a 2 man pontoon as a kickboat but i would take the driftboat to be on the safe side if the runoff is not in your favor.
