Hit the water about 1. Sunny with some overcast, and many casts to no avail. While fishing our entrance point, something smelled awful. So to try to cast to a spot, my friend goes upstream, and says "Look to your left". I look, and see a big furry brown thing and say "what the?" and upon further investigation, found it was a dead otter. I had seen the guy years before, but not lately.

The fishing was sporadic, with certain areas giving us a big sunny or 2, but nothing else.

I went up a bit farther by myself and found a nice Motorola phone!

And then before we left, my friend caught a smallmouth, that another smallmouth chased until he pulled it out of the water. When I asked if he wanted a photo, he said yes and showed me this small white thing. It was a 2 inch minnow sticking out of the smally's mouth!
