Default Swap of the month - June

This month's theme is courtesy of FISHNFOOL9. Brian wants to do a dry fly size 18 or smaller swap. I will be hosting so all flies will come to me for sorting.
Standard rules apply. If you need my address, send me a PM and I'll get it to you.

Reminder: Part of your commitment for these swaps is to have your flies in on time. Flies are due before the end of the month that they are tied for. If you are late, it isn't fair to leave it open when other tyers sent theirs overnight (at a high price) to hit the deadline. There isn't room for many exceptions, especially if you don't coordinate beforehand. Now, on to more enjoyable things.....

    1.) Ben - RECEIVED
    2.) Gigmaster - griffith's gnat - RECEIVED
    3.) John R - RECEIVED
    4.) Ol' Blue - crackleback (?)
    5.) jdubach - badger spider - RECEIVED
    6.) Cal E. Batis - ant - RECEIVED
    7.) FISHNFOOL9 - RECEIVED
    8.) nyfisherman - parachute ant - RECEIVED
    9.) ibrb - Vis-A-Dun Baetis - RECEIVED
    10.) DManley - RECEIVED
11.) sanctyphillia - better winged olives - RECEIVED
    12.) sjo - yellow sally - RECEIVED

(Jared, I think this is our current tyers list. If not, let me know and I'll fix it. - Greg)

Wow!! I don't tie dries very often and now 18 or less? This will be a fun challenge.

Why is it that someone always beats me to the darn EHC? Oh, I know. It's because it's one of the easiest tie and most prolific of the fish-catchers.

    I'll tie a badger spider.

Is a foam fly considered a dry fly in this case?

    Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,?

I would say no. Lets save the foam for the foam swap someday.

The reason i did a dry fly size 18 or under is beacuse this is the type of fly i use 99.9% of the time when i am fishing my small stream here in So Cal.

You can have the EHC. I'll tie a Griffith's Gnat instead. There are plenty of patterns to go around.
