Default Let's all pull for Mikey today...

...as he starts a new job. After to talking to him last evening, it sounds like Mikey (ohiotuber) is looking forward to going to work again each day. He was not happy at his last place of employment, and it sounds like the new job is a first class operation with great people to work with and work for.

Good luck on your first day on the new job. Make sure to take the boss a dozen of your best flies!

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

    Joe,
Thanks for the post! You guys are all great.
My last job in a small collection agency was "heading downhill" in a hurry. The new job is as a "Corporate Collector" in business to business collections with YRC (Roadway & Yellow Freight having merged). What I saw & heard before was that morale, communications, & ethics there were "A1" & I saw just that today. Strange to take on a new job at 62 years of age, but I am pleased. They held a Department meeting this morning to introduce me & the "mood" there is VERY positive. It is a good situation.
BTW...my boss is NOT a fly fisherman, but he is a Reserve Colonel & has served 2 tours in the Middle East. He & I immediately hit it off when I first interviewed.

Good luck on the new job Mikey. Coming from someone who had his vacation time reduced from 3 weeks a year to 1 week. I hope all works out well for you.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
