a nice day with a couple pics
Got out with wirebender yesterday for a day of trout fishing. It was a gorgeous day weatherwise, but either the trout were stubborn or we just didn't hit the right combinations. We did manage 3, 2 on black buggers & 1 on a San Juan worm Keith found. I didn't get a pic of his 15 incher as he was too far off, but here are my 2...15" & the one in the net is 13". All safely released.
We then went to Keiths where I played around in his pond long enough to c & r 4 bass & a dozen or so gills. All my fish were caught on the new 5wt TFO. All bass & gills at Keith's were taken on my yellow woolly worm.
