Some good news today

Additional labs from the doc have come back as normal. Liver labs have returned to normal but we will be keeping an eye on it for the time being. Change in diet (again) and more hiking along with the metformin has resulted in good cholesterol numbers. I am off of the statins and refuse to go back on them. I did not want to go on them anyway because they have some really bad side effects but did so for a short time to humor some others. NEVER AGAIN!

I intend to celebrate tomorrow with a day of catching gills on the lake. Anyone that wants to go with me can meet me at west boat launch of Little Buffalo State Park. If you can't go know that I will be thinking of you the whole day!

Eric - That is GREAT news! See - I told ya so. You're gonna feel better and better from here on in.

Now about that little "excursion" to Gettysburg.........
I'll bet Amy would like to come along for that - we could all bring our cameras along, as that's about as "target rich" of an environment as you could imagine! It'd really make for a nice little photo album and report for those folks here that have never seen or experienced that great national park (hint hint, Amy!). Plus, Amy would get to see that your fellow FAOL'ers can actually enjoy a day without fishing.

Gimme a call and we'll set some plans - it's a free call for both of us, and I don't want to drag your carcass out of bed (again) . Let's celebrate your continued good health, and our "victory" against that darn "sugar" disease with a trip of a lifetime. It's a cheap trip, too! About $20 out of pocket per person for the whole day, and that includes dinner. It'd be cool if we could get some other FAOL members to join us for this......Ed
