Ah, a most timely post!
Guess what I was doing this weekend...
There's a year old Honeysuckle Locust stump under that fire. I soaked it with kerosene for awhile after boring a "lot" of holes down deep.
The result..a scorched top, after 6-7 hrs of HOT burning!
Think I'll go the Salt peter route and let her soak in diesel/chemicals and see what goes!
Edit...on 2nd thoughts after reading Bones' post, since the roots go under my 14 yr old deck, attached to the house, maybe I'll begin chopping! You read about stupid things that happen to people all the time. Thanks Bones!
