    Fairly old story. It went thru the NW fishing boards a couple a months ago and the guy that caught the fish was verbally abused on those boards for weeks. Seems to have been some question as to just how badly the fish was damaged before the guy decided to do it in. Still a catch of a lifetime. I took one of similar dimensions on the Skagit about 12 years ago. All I have is the memory and the knowledge the fish swam away with only his ego injured. To bad this fish had to die.
