Default What would Black Silk thread look like?

What would black silk thread look like if used for wrapping guides without any color preserver? I know white is supposed to turn clear? Would black have a smoke or dark tint and also be semi clear or translucent?

It will still be black. It does not go translucent or change colors.

black is probably the only color that will not change other than to get glossy due to the varnish.
