After fishing the new boo (3pc. 7'6") and having worked all the bugs out, I metioned some changes were in order. Below are the changes I made to the rod, namely a different shape grip, a ring and saddle hook keeper , and a custom built double band reel seat (the wood is York Gum from down under). This new "improved version" is ready to hit the streams once more and land some trouts..............Ed

Hey smernsky, I like that reel seat...did you build that yourself? I'm partial to slide bands
for 4wt down. Gottal love that Snake Brand

MM....... I went back to the blank builder and asked if he could make me a double band reel seat. He did , and you see the results....... Ed

I just had to add a Traditional "old style " Reel. One thing I wont do with this outfit, is hang it on the wall...........Looking forward to the weekends,warm weather and some fish to put a bend in the rod and listening to that clicker goin in reverse.........Ed
