This is the first trout on a fly rod my buddy Brian caught, he snuck off when I was at work up on dry run, came running into work with a smile as proud as a peacock and a camera in hand, hollering at me across the front end of the store. TIM! TIM! Look what I caught!!!
His first ever trout on a fly rod a nice Native Brookie...

Those remind me of the creeks, streams of down home New Brunswick, Canada..
Nothing smells quite like the damp woods of an eastern forest....

    Thanks

    Talking Beautiful Pictures!

    Hi Grub,

I love the pictures but they sure do look like winter is hanging on there. Here in South Carolina we are showing new, light green leaves everywhere. You look like you're fishing in Canada! 8T

    Grubbster,

Those pictures are just flat stunning. Beautiful water. You are a lucky guy to be able to fish there.

    Hey Tim,
Those are GREAT pics! I'd like to go there, but can this chubby ol' man hike that far?
Tell Brian that lots of folks actually pay MONEY to go on vacation & slide down falls like that!!

    Default Mountains

Great photos and those are some serious and dangerous looking mountains. Are they some of those famous Luray Caverns that are advertised? I've always wanted to fish for native trout in Virginia and West Virginia.
