I have my favorite rod wrapped at two inch intervals after 12 inches. I measure every good fish...it's my de-lier and really helps when shooting photos

I love it. I wrap all of my rods with a 12-inch start point and then every four inches out to 24 inches. On my 8wt I then jumped 6 inches out to 30 and 36. I know - wishful thinking, but hey, it beats trying to measure everything with a tape. Also, I use Measure Net just to keep things honest.

I think a "slam" is whatever works for the water you're on. If there are no Cutts in your particular water, or any of the other particular species, then a slam is catching one of each species that do reside there.

    Way to go!

    Excellent! Thanks Grubb!

What's the name of that stream or is it top secret?

I'm heading back to visit my family in the middle of June. I wonder if there's any chance of finding some trout biting at that time of the year? If not, I'll go for some smallies.

    Cheers,
    Dave

    Thumbs up

oh yeah, its not until August that that stream will get to much effect from the heat to fish, its called Dry Run River up on 33 west, headed toward WV, there's even a beautiful lake up top that can be fished as well.
B-4 you get here give me a holler, if I have time and you want, maybe we can hook up for a day...
