Pentax released it's new digital camera

They had been hinting around for quite some time about a new Super Zoom that would be a hybrid crossover between the Digital S.L.R. and a compact Point and Shoot. Well they did it. Nikon makes a similar camera but now they have some very serious competition. Check it out here:

This camera will satisfy those that are looking for something more than a point and shoot but do not want to tackle a DSLR. Looks like I won't be getting my new rod as I will be saving my pennies to get one of these.
