Nope, not me. I keep it to sane limits, but that is probably more due to the family more than my self control. But then again, doesn't everyone feel the same way?
I would like to make my own rod blank someday, but I just don't have the tooling for something like that. In the meantime, I'll stick with everything but the reel, rod blank, and line. And those are up for revision as opportunity knocks.

BTW, both books were on amazon, and they are on the way to my house. One was under $4 and the other around $9.
