Takeing Nephew fishing - Rochester, NY

Any suggestions for spin fishing around Rochester NY for a kid around 10 yrs old? I usually go fly fishing but wanted an easier spin fishing water. Thanks

Powdermill Park was just stocked for the April 1st tournament.
There is plenty of shoreline to fish and is a great place to take kids.
An ultra light outfit with canned corn should keep him occupied and you can use the flyrod there.
It will be a bit crowded for a week or so but there is plenty of room.
