Talking Swap of the month - April (FULL!)

It is ibrb's month to pick our theme. I will be hosting again. The theme for April is bluegill flies. Send us your favorite by April 30.
I picked up a book from sportsmans warehouse on clearance on bluegill flyfishing, so I'll be picking a pattern from that book.
PM me if you need shipping info. It's April, so we don't need to go over the rules again for shipping, toetags, etc. do we? You all know the drill by now.
We had a member drop, so we have an opening if anyone wants in!

I've decided on a black and white gill bug. White chenille body, black head, and 4 white rubber legs on each side. Usually I tie them in yellow and black, but I think white will do as well and provide a bit of a change from the usual. Very similar to the humbug, but the legs are tied in front to back instead of left to right.

As I stated in the March swap, I'm having elbow problems. Right now the outlook is pretty good. Rest and probably no surgery. I can tie, but it causes some discomfort. So, as much as I have enjoyed this swap, I'm officially dropping out.
ol' blue you can add the first alternate to the new list.
Thanks to all participants, the swapmeister and hosts for a fun and educational swap.
    Respectfully
    Chuck

I just discovered that I do not have enough material for 12 Club Sandwich Patterns. Can I tie Richard Komar's Incredible Bluegill-Buster....the Alien, instead? Here is what it looks like on a #14 hook.

    The Alien
Designed by Richard Komar of Plano, Tx.

    Hook: #14 Dry Fly
    Thread: Black Kevlar 3/0
    Body: Peacock Ice Chenille
Head: Small Black Rainey's Float Foam
    Legs: Black Rubber Sillli Legs

Richard Komar is a warmwater flyfisher residing in Plano, Texas and is a member of FAOL, the Great American Bass Club and the Dallas FlyFishers. This pattern was Fly Of The Week for the 2nd Quarter, 2005. The original pattern is in the archives of FAOL for that week.

    Thanks

Aliens are on the way (via Fed-Ex), along with the Ausable Wulfs from the March Swap that were .....mis-directed??????????

I hope they work as good for all of you as they do for me.
