I am new to fly tying and looking to be in some fly swaps. I need to know what toe tags are and where to get them. Thanks.
You make them.
Include the fly's name, your name, handle, and the recipe for the fly.
Most people make them on the computer with Word, print them and stick a hook through the tag.

Tip - stick a layer of clear tape on one side it will hold the tag to the hook better!
Compose then shrink!
Hi CD Paul,
Be sure to keep your toe tag small. Compose it in Word with all the necessary information and then shrink it to an eight or even a seven point font. That way you don't take up too much room in the mailing container. You might want to review Bassman's sticky note at the top of the Fly Swap section of this BB for general swap advice. 8T
