    That's one great looking rod. Love the reel seat color and thread combination, and the darker wraps really set it off nicely.

    Aw jeeze, you guys are so talented. Makes me wish I had learned rod making when I was young. Hard not to be envious of that talent. There were/are a few real makers in the craft. Keep it going guys.

    thanks gentlemen.
    to answer the questions posed...

    when the rod was commissioned to be built, the agreement and price settled one was for a one tip rod. but, because of the recession, I decided to include a second for no extra charge.

    blondes...the last three rods I've built have been blonde and they've been simply gorgeous. nearly every other rod I've built has been flamed.

    wraps are pearsall's gossamer amber w/ claret tips. no cp. four coats spar varnish prior to dip finishing.
