All things in moderation. I think the last drink of liquor I had was a straight shot of Jack from an airplane bottle. I still cannot stand the smell for Jim Beam from a weekend late in November or early December 1969, a short time before leaving Ft. Polk. I know people who drink gin should attend the meetings and have my suspicions about Scotch drinkers.
But, there is a small brewery in extreme SW Mississippi (Kiln, MS, Brett Favre's hometown) that make a very good ale using roasted pecans. If you get to where it's available I would recommend it.
