Thread: reel knobs

    There is always something tactile about wooden parts, the feel is just right compared to plastics and metals, the only thing that betters wood in feel is Ivory.

    I am partial towards the Walnut stained version - looks the part and would be enhanced with counterboring for the screw but looking good in all other departments.

    Matching knobs and reel seat kits next?

    Yeah, the originals were just plastic. One did have a wood grain design, though.

    And I don't make my own rods. Yet...
