    Hola Paco,
I live in London and may be able to give you a few pointers. There are a few fly fishing shops in London, but not many. Most of the good ones are based nearer to where the fishing is at. There are two in the west end of London are Sharpe's Of Aberdeen, 67A York Street, London (near Baker Street tube) and Farlows of Pall Mall on Pall Mall (around the corner from Trafalgar Square). They tend to be "general" fly stores and carry the mainstream stuff. If you are looking for something a little more specialist then mail order is the way to go, and there are plenty of websites and mail order companies you can order from. Niche Products in particular tend to stock all of the materials you need to build the Oliver Edwards style flies. Peter at Niche is a very helpful guy and offers a great and personal service. Contact them for a catalogue +44 (0)1245 442041 e-mail niche.fly@virgin.net.

For fly tying clubs you need to refer to the Fly Dressers? Guild [url=http://www.the-fdg.org/:4de1e]http://www.the-fdg.org/[/url:4de1e] It all depends where you are going to be in London (huge city) as to which branch might be worth getting in touch with.

Let me know if you would like any additional information.

If you are in London on a Sunday and fancy some grayling fishing (with the prospect of the occasional sea trout or salmon) on the river Test, get in touch with Hughie at Sharpes of Aberdeen and he runs fortnightly trips. They turn out to be quite international affairs with people from all over the world coming along. He can only accommodate 12 fishermen at a time, so get in touch with him early if you are interested. The day usually includes a cooked breakfast and lunch in the fishing hut. If you are not bringing your tackle with you from Spain, he can lend you some gear. And as a bonus you will get to meet me.

I can also put you in touch with someone who runs similar days on the alternate Sundays on the river Kennet. As well as grayling they have rainbows and some good dace in the river.

I have not been to the market on Portobello Road for a few years, but I do not recall seeing any fishing tackle, etc on sale. It is mainly clothes based and a bit of a fashion mecca.

Have a great trip and wrap up nice and warm, against the cold and wet weather.
