Sometimes there is something too clean about flyfishing, gotta get a little dirty once in a while.
On themed ideas:
I fish only green flies if I can go out on St. Patricks day. I also tied up some humpies with my local college's colors. Red and white, call it a Christmas humpy.

Ronn Lucas tied up 4 Atlantic Salmon flies (1 for each branch of the military) in their dress uniform colors. Stunning!!

Color combos, themed ideas, and clothes associated with an idea or place in time are really neat.
