Above, is a 'Gill that I'd consider"big", I supposeif you're comparing Bluegills on an average size scale.
Henry Hoffman is the fly fisher pictured holding this nice 'Gill. He took it on a dry in a little pond we often fish together.
We're not sure if it's "something in the water, itself" or maybe it's a "genetic problem", that's causing the larger, like this Bluegill, to also have these wooden plates grow out of their left sides!?
