Thread: SAGE Xi2 16wt???

  1. Default SAGE Xi2 16wt???

    I was recently looking at the SAGE website and saw they had a some new Xi2s...including a 16wt?!?!? Anybody ever see these in person? Who makes a 16wt line??? What about a reel for that mammoth rod??? Man...what would you do with said rod???
    PS...anybody try the new 9ft 6in 7wt Steelhead Xi2?

    Marlin fishing! I usually use a 15wt.

    Marlin and Tuna. Most guys use heavy specialty integrated lines or shooting heads - 500 grain heads and up. Reels like Billy Pate Marlin or Billy Pate Bluefin, Tibor Pacific, Abel 5 or Super 14 are examples of reels.
