    Default AFTMA Line Weight Question?

So if the line weight rating for a 6 weight is 152-168 grains in the first 30 feet, how does one choose a DC sinking tip line? If a DC line weighs 200 grains, and has a 24 foot sinking tip, is that line too heavy for a 6 weight?

JC hit it right on the head. Just a different way of casting the line. Like he said it may not be pretty but it will get the job done. Ron
