Default What's that on the front of your truck?

My father-in-law lived in West yellowstone, MT for almost 20 years. Owned a grocery store and had to plow pretty regularly. When he finally retired from the grocery business he said he was going to put the snowplow on the front of his old IH Travelall and drive as far away from snow as he could until he found a place where someone asked what that thing was on the front of his truck.

He now lives in Clarkston, WA and they're experiencing the worst snow season of the last 10 years. Guess he should have kept the plow.

Good luck and stay warm. All that snow means more for the fishies.

Cute story, and I do understand why he would declare that. When we lived in MT. we were snowed on in every month, really.

I love that part of Washington. If I could get my wife to move there I would move to Asotin tomorrow. They can't be getting that much more snow than I have here; over 40 inches in the past week and a half. I have not seen this much snow in western WA in the 35 years I have lived here.

    Jim,

We have had a Good Samaritan come up with an end loader and clear our private road three times since the snow has been falling otherwise we would be stuck. Today with all of the rain and melting snow our road was like driving in a great big slurpy. He came by and cleared the road the third time. I collected money from the other neighbors and we gave it to him for his troubles. At first he refused the money but we insisted and he finally gave in to our demands.
