My wife's grandfather used to send us a care package every year at Christmas time. Haribo Gold Baren, Marzipan, and the chocolates with the liquer in them. Man, I do miss those packages. I need to dig around on the 'net and find me some marzipan. That stuff is as addictive as fly-tying.

There are dozens and dozens of recipes for marzipan. Do a Google search for it and you will be delighted! Remember that marzipan can be either the treat or the ingredient in the treat. You should be able to make your own with ease.
