This last season on the Henry's Fork I decided to hit the Stoneflies. Something I have never done (I avoid crowds whenever possible) and wanted to try. After I found where I wanted to go, I suited up and headed to the river. Two gentlemen pulled in the same time as I did and were walking with me. Without sounding annoyed, because I wasn't, I asked which direction they were going, and of course they were going the same way I was. Then without being prompted, they suggested we leap frog the likely spots and gave ourselves room. This went on for awhile and I couldn't complain at all. Because of their diplomacy, I had a successful day fishing somewhat with people I have never met. Stream etiquette at its finest.
