Default Bristol 25, 8' tubular steel rod

I bought this rod shortly after the war (the big one).Seems like it was in the early '50's. It's got a soft action and is a great nymphing rod. Many, many years ago I rewound it and it still looks like new. It has the orignal pouch and aluminum tube. Does anyone know if it has any value?

    Default Steel rods

Hello Jack Zelm, welcome to fly anglers online...does your fly rod resemble either of the two in the bottom of this picture?

If so you might check this site... http://www.oldreels.com/bristol_rods.htm
.....for more info. Hope this helps, meantime, enjoy yourself here !

I have a Bristol rod myself....
I've casually looked at them on E-Bay just to see what they go for
Never seen one sell so I would think there's not much of a market for them
    Could be wrong
