If the figures are true they've likely been chased off by ski-doos, 300 hp bass boats and ATVs ripping along the shores. I agree with Greg, though. Seems like there are more not less. JGW
most of the figures come from the various state fish and game departments and are based
on license sales. One of the problems (and you already know it) is the kids are sitting in front of either the TV or computer and don't have any outdoor experience. The family isn't what it was when most of us were growing up....and it is likely to get worse. Take a kid fishing.
