For those flyfishers interested, there is a permanent display of George's flies, as well as some others, in Butte, Montana at the visitors center just off of the interstate. It is well worth your time to stop in and take a look at this display. I stopped in to see George a few months ago, and talked with him about fishing the Big Hole. He talked about his black creeper flies, a wonderful fly, and signed my books in exchange for a case of Coke and a case of Gatorade. He did a lot for the Big Hole and flyfishing conservation in general. He'll be missed.
