Knots for Stranded/Coated Wire Leaders

A regular figure eight knot or some "official" fishing figure eight knot? Just thread the hook eye through and tie it?

I never would figure that would hold. I'll have to try it.

A Regular figure eight knot is what I use for rock climbing. It had better not come undone. I havn't tied it any differant when fishing the few times I've used it and haven't had any issues.
