    Default Another Kentuckian

Hello and Wecome from another Kentuckian. I am in Marshall County - West of the Lakes - in the small town of Draffenville. Closest "real" city is Benton. Lots of warm water fare out here with only one stocked trout stream and that is on the east side of Lake Barkley.

    Default Howdy!!

Welcome from yet another Kentuckian, I am in Carlisle Co. on the Mississippi River. We have bunches of Oxbow lakes full of 'gills out here. Good looking flys, got to tie up some myself.

Ever since I went to bead chain eyed flies I have had great success. Great looking flies.

Only drawback: On 4wt and under rods, watch your rod tips. One hit with that fly on the tip will have you crying. Ask me how I know.
Good fishing technique trumps all.....wish I had it.

those are great looking flies! Simple, durable, easily replaceable. All the qualities of a great pattern. Oh, and that they catch fish
