1. If you'd like to enjoy Walton's book; first read "The Complete Angler, A Connecticut Yankee Follows in the Footsteps of Walton". After Prosek disects the book for you, and you get an idea of the reasons the book was written it's a whole lot easier to read. Reading Walton's book is fun.
2. I own a number of fly fishing and fly tying books. Some of the books I enjoy more than others, but I've never run into one that I disliked.
I am enjoying hearing everyone's opinions. Sorry I don't have a blistering clever comment, but I enjoyed Howell Raine's book so much I have read it twice.
