I've been trying to verify this (see my Fryingpan River report from earlier this year for my speculation), and this is some of the first real proof! I think this is a cross between the strain they've always used (I think it is a Colo river strain, but I'm not sure) and the Hofer strain.

I sure hope this deos the trick!!! It would sure be nice to see some decent sized rainbows in our rivers here again!
