    Default Salmon Fishing in Wisconsin

I was just wondering if anybody here knew anything about Salmon Fishing in Wisconsin at this time of the year. I am from Iowa and my dad said that he heard that it was Salmon season on some of the rivers up there, so I was wondering if anybody had any information to guide us on where to fish and what the regulations are for the out of state fisherman to fish for the Salmon in WI.

    Thank You

    Hey there Marko,
The Root River in SE Wisconsin in Racine is a great place among others. In the Root, you can " walk across on their backs". That's almost not an exaggeration. But any river along that Eastern shore of Lake Michigan is full of fish right about now.
    Good Luck

Okay just in case we go anyways, what do you suggest we use. We wont be fly fishing I can guarantee that because I'm sure my 3wt wont do the job, so what do you suggest we use on a spinning rod?

If the water is that low best take a camera instead of a rod.
