Default Add one to the species list

Went out the other day with a few friends fishing smallies on the Mississippi. I ended up pulling a decent sized Bowfin (just under 2 ft) out of a slack water hole. Thought I had a cat at first, but then I saw the green on the fins and realized what I'd caught. Strange prehistoric fish, but they put up quite the fight.

Need to add another one to my all time species list.

They put up a good fight on a fly rod. We call them Mudfish here.
