    Default Note to Sagellbean ...

OK ... you're the new guy here; you "fish" in South Dakota; ya got lots going for you, so I'll be kind. WHERE DO YOU GET OFF TELLING PEOPLE THERE ARE TROUT IN SOUTH DAKOTA!!!!!!!!!! Gawd! It's a well known fact that THERE ARE NO TROUTS IN SOUTH DAKOTA!!! You really want all these guys fishing up there?!?! (if there were any trouts there!)

Wish I'd known a couple weeks ago that you're there. We just got back from, mostly, the Big Horn area in Wyoming (I CAUGHT CUT THROATS!!!! MY FIRST!!!!), and a pass through in the Black Hills. We'll be back (good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise!!) in May. Maybe we can get the SD contingency together for some fine eating or/and fishing.

Welcome to the board. I think you'll really like it here. And I'll be nice ... as long as you don't tell anyone about the trouts in SD
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

    Cool

    Sagellbean,
Quote Wikipedia; (South Dakota)Due to higher elevation and precipitation, the ecology of the Black Hills differs significantly from that of the plains. The mountains are thickly blanketed by various types of pine, mostly of the ponderosa and spruce varieties. Black Hills mammals include mule deer, elk (wapiti), bighorn sheep, mountain goats, and mountain lions, while the streams and lakes contain (SEVERAL SPECIES of TROUT.) End Quote.
Your not the only one who is in trouble!

Hang on for for just a bit longer. I've got bread coming out of the oven real soon (man does not on SPAM alone...). I've got my gear in the truck, kissed the dog, kicked the wife and I'm hot to trot!
