Casting a spey rod? Looks like a ton of line out or is that a cable across the river? Either way pretty impressive casting

Not a spey rod it is a 4wt, and it indeed is a cable crossing over the dam tail
water at Box canyon, right where the boat launch is at..

Not very long as we were heading over to pick him up when his mother took the pic.

We had a very good day fishing the box canyon.
